I have been tasked with starting a church and building a youth center. In this little city there are a dozen churches. Each church spends near $100,000 a year to maintain a building (just for church) and a pastor. Most of these churches cannot afford anything more than to survive. That is near 1 Million Dollars a year wasted while the community has great needs.
This church will never build a building just for church. We are setting out to build a community center and youth center to meet the needs of the community.
This center will have a skate board park, indoor mini golf, Wii excercise games, excercise equipment, and a concert/theater stage where we will have movies. It will be at this stage we will have our church services.
As pastor, I will take no more than $12,000 a year from the church budget and all the rest, $88,000 a year (using the above) will go directly into the community to support the youth center and to help the poor and those dealing with catastrophy.
We are supposed to be a church of "all things in common". I hope this will be a start of returning Christians to the true calling of saving souls and being good stewards of what GOD has given us.
HIS PEACE,
KRN
Blogging is not my strong point. I often go for months and not think about this blog at all.
A great oportunity seems to be presenting itself in Reed City MI.
Unlike Wolcott, NY. (where I feel I have to fight to get anything done) Reed City has been a place where we have found interested people and a lot of useable buildings. In just a couple of weeks we have entered into talks for a space to use and I have met with people interested in starting a church to support a project here.
It is my hope that, in a year or two, this will grow into a foundation upon which the Wolcott plan can be built.
In Wolcott there are no suitable buildings and no people who seems to want to step up and help. Should things go well in Reed City, we will be able to return to Wolcott with the backing of a larger organization. Since Wolcott is going to require the acquisition of land and the building of a building from scratch, it will cost much more than a start in a place like Reed City.
Therefore, I am putting the Wolcott project on hold unti I can return with the support necessary to complete the task.
But, I am committed to returning and completing the task. The Money that is in the bank in Wolcott will remain there until we, or someone else, starts to get the project rolling.
There have been many people who have set out to do what we have set out to do in Wolcott. For any number of reasons, the project has not gotten done. The only way it will ever get done is if someone decides they will not stop until it is done and if the people who live here will decide to help. This effort will go no-where if it is left up to a couple of people with the rest standing on the sidelines shouting hooray. We need your help. You! Specifically you! You have taken the time to come here and read this. Now you need to join the effort. It takes money and man hours to accomplish a community project. Currently, we are short on both. Get involved and
LET'S GIT UR DONE
There are those who do not believe we need GOD. They do not see the decay of our nation as a spiritual issue. They do not see the decay of our nation as an issue at all.
As has been said numerous times, the best trick Satan ever did was to convince people he doesn't exist. No-one fights against a foe they do not know they have.
The only thing that can change the heart of a nation is the power of GOD. When a nation reaches a point where it's citizens consider it OK to murder unborn (and born) babies, it has a sickness of spirit. The spirit can only be healed by THE SPIRIT.
Sexual abuse, drug abuse, mental and physical abuse, alcohol abuse, and all of the other issues that are destroying this nation are a result of it's spiritual condition.
ONLY GOD CAN CHANGE THE HEART OF THE NATION
Bless God America has full legal status in NY. We have the bank account established and the donate buttons on the website are fully functional.
So, far, we have a little over $200.00 in the account (mostly from my tything as we haven't begun a real campaign yet)
In the world of ministry there is that time when you are either waiting on marching orders from GOD or you are waiting on people. While I am a firm believer that waiting on people is still waiting on GOD, I find it more difficult.
I would like to be reporting on greater progress, but I am currently waiting on a piece of paper from the state of NY that will allow us to open a bank account for the ministry.
In the state of NY, you can not open a bank account unless you are incorporated as a non-profit ministry in NY. So, even though we have been a non-profit ministry since 2004, we recently moved headquarters to NY and are now doing the paperwork to secure our standing in this state.
HIS peace to you and yours,

Hello,
As you have likely seen, we are going full speed ahead, dedicating the resources of BGA to the building of a youth center/skateboard park in Wolcott, NY.
The project hit a small snag with the loss of our initial building site. Still, we knew that our first effort was to raise enough money to get the project done. Even as we seek a new location, we are going forward with ur fund raising efforts.
To that end, we have placed three donation boxes around the Wolcott area with Bless GOd America pins. The box in the Village restaurant has been there for 2 weeks and has already brought in $68.00. We ahve just placed a box in the Red Apple gas station and in the Cottage Inn on Ridge Road.
A thank you goes out to those businesses for hosting a donation box. We will seek out other locations around town over the next few weeks.
Thank you for coming to the site.
HIS peace to you and yours.
